Position Details

Houston Methodist is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team as a Charge Nurse. Primary Job Duties:

  1. Clinical Leadership:

  3. Communication:

    • Participate in regular interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care and unit operations.
  4. Quality Improvement:

    • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives, participating in the development and implementation of best practices.
    • Monitor compliance with established nursing standards and protocols.
    • Identify areas for improvement and actively participate in problem-solving.
  5. Administrative Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
    • Participate in staff evaluations and contribute to the professional development of nursing staff.
    • Collaborate with unit management to ensure adequate staffing levels and resource allocation.

Educational Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  2. Minimum 6 months of clinical nursing experience, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
  3. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
