You Will:
The Global Category Specialist (GCS) is responsible for:
- IT Hardware evaluation and catalog maintenance for global standards utilized by the company's operations associates.
- Site inspection on how the products is applied in consideration of ergonomics and space.
- Engage with suppliers for testing, evaluation, and selection of items such as headsets, cameras, PCs, Monitors and other items related to IT for the multiple applications within voice and video functions.
- Maintenance of the global catalog standard of computers, monitors and related peripherals as selected in combination with the IT department and conducting site inspections for validating utilization of standards, work environments.
- Interviewing agents and coaches for identifying best practices on Call Center Environment and mass product evaluation.
- Champions the knowledge and testing of the multiple products offered by suppliers around the world presenting proper evaluation based on the criteria presented by the requesting department or IT structure.
You Have:
- Four-year IT degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years in IT BPO/Call Center experience- with extensive knowledge of IT gear and technical understanding of the components and benefits of each for the BPO industry application.
- 2+ years in Technology industry and related product and support
- Passionate about Technology and knowledge on IT equipment, Critical thinking, and a strong product evaluation capability.
- Must have ability to follow processes with ability to report on the testing results utilizing MS Suite products
- Knowledge of voice analytics in Call Center environment
- Understanding of Call Center environment KPIs
- Solid knowledge of Call Center IT equipment application (how it is used)
- Highly proficient with MS Office, especially MS Excel and presentation tools
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Critical thinking
- Ability to work under stress and collaborative, global team environment
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Solid analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office programs
