Job Description

Essential Functions:

Utilizes the ANA Nursing Process (2010) to perform the following functions:

  • Personalized healthcare strategies developed for the healthcare consumer are expected to result in better outcomes. By tailoring treatment plans to an individual's needs, medical professionals can improve overall health and wellbeing.
  • Drafts a scheme that suggests procedures and options to achieve envisioned targets.
  • Implements the designated action plan. Ensures that the patient makes progress according to the schedule.
  • Effective coordination of care involves the integration of the various healthcare providers involved in the delivery of the treatment.
  • Health education and promoting well-being strategies work towards sustaining health and minimizing the risk of danger to health.
  • The advanced practice registered nurse and nursing role specialist offer guidance to impact the devised strategy, boost the proficiency of individuals, and facilitate transformation through consultation.
  • Measures the progress made in achieving the intended outcomes.

Additional Requirements

Required:

Education - Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing

Certifications - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA); Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing

Preferred:

Experience - 5+ years of Registered Nurse Experience

Education - Bachelors degree in Nursing

Physical Requirements:

Handling heavy loads is a crucial component of this position, where the individual needs to exert continuous force of over 25 pounds and frequently more than 50 pounds, up to 66% of the time.
