Program Administrator
We are looking for an Experienced AFC Administrator to provide assistance and training, promote personal growth through individualized treatment approaches and work to create and maintain safe environments for the individuals to whom he/she provides supports. You will oversee the progress of operations as it relates to resident care and compliance. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics. The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.
This position is a regional position and oversees multiple homes. Travel required**
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision to residents and staff within Turning Leaf Programs
- Supervision of treatment/care of adults with intellectual disabilities and/or mental illness residing in group home and/or supported living setting
- Provide strategic guidance to residents and direct support professional staff in ways that promote the company s culture
- Oversee the progress of operations as it relates to resident care and compliance
- May assist with emergencies during unscheduled work time and may provide on call supports for work site after hours.
- Provide communication across, within and between all players and functions providing services to the resident as applicable.
- Maintain a professional relationship with residents of Turning Leaf while modeling and guiding appropriate social interaction for residents and staff.
- Prepare reports for program directors, finance or human resources departments and/or Turning Leaf's Leadership team as it relates to program compliance.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Program Manager, Administrator, or other managerial position in a residential treatment environment with preference to AFC experience
- Thorough understanding of program management techniques and methods
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Experience with administering medications and supervising medication administrators
Before applying, please note: This is an on-call role. Program Administrators may assist with emergencies during unscheduled work time and may provide on call supports for work site after hours. Additionally, while the position is typically carried out during business hours, throughout the new manager's first month of employment, at least, they will be required to shadow, train and assist as direct support in all assignments and shifts so as to ensure a thorough understanding of the management responsibilities of this role.
Contingencies: All opportunities at Turning Leaf are contingent upon successful completion of a post-offer physical examination, pre-hire tuberculosis testing, criminal background clearances, as well as degree and/or license verification. A valid Michigan Driver s License is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.
Salary : Annual salary subject to negotiation based on education, experience and scope of practice/management. Pay: $46,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
