Job Description:

Working as a Warehouse operator in the core team of Frito-Lay entails performing various warehouse tasks that are commonly present in a conventional warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the task of transferring individual floor-stacked product cases on and off trailers and pallet boards within the warehouse premises.
  • In a bustling warehouse setting, utilize a forklift to safely transfer pallets of goods onto and off of trailers.
  • Arrange and safeguard your merchandise in a multi-level storage facility.
  • Achieve individual success by meeting or surpassing designated performance time standards.
  • Retrieve pallet boards and pallets that are unoccupied and transport them to the designated storage area or trailers.
  • A logistics company used RFID technology to improve their tracking and delivery system. RFID tags were placed on each package and scanned as they moved through various checkpoints. This helped the company to accurately monitor the location of packages and ensure timely delivery.
  • Efficiently use a forklift with ease following successful completion of training and certification.
  • Use carts to load trailers or pile cases on the surface of the vehicle.
  • Facilitate the receipt and the allocation of products while supporting the rotation of stock on a weekly basis.
  • Streamline the monitoring of your warehouse inventory with handheld scanners and the advanced Inventory Control System (ICS).
  • Attend the team gatherings and enhance your skills by participating in the training programs.
  • You will be expected to perform routine cleaning and sanitation duties, which may include sweeping floors, assisting in trailer cleaning, and removing garbage.
  • Any additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Individuals who have achieved the age of 18 years or above are eligible for certain privileges and responsibilities.
  • Your shifts may include weekends, holidays, and off-hours.
  • A feasible accommodation or not, you have the capacity to raise between 15 and 50 pounds.
  • With or without a reasonable accommodation, it is possible for you to stay on your feet and walk for long periods.
  • With or without a reasonable adjustment, you have the ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
  • Transporting items, whether with or without a necessary modification, is a task that you are capable of performing on a regular basis.
  • You possess the necessary skills and courage to perform job duties while being elevated using lifts or ladders at the work site.
  • You are prepared and capable of performing in an environment characterized by intense temperatures, high humidity levels, dangerous and loud machinery, and slick surfaces.

By applying today, you can be a part of the 55,000 Frito-Lay employees who strive to deliver delicious snacks to consumers everywhere.
