Job Summary:

Walmart Supply Chain's Warehouse Corrdinator is an essential role in the timely and cost-effective delivery of products to the buyer. The job requires the use of power equipment to move items from the distribution network to the store, with an emphasis on security for both the employee and others. Staff will need to execute challenging tasks in challenging weather, and efficiency is critical to ensuring the timely arrival of products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Powered Equipment Operations:

• Ensure that moving equipment is operated both safely and effectively when transporting freight, pulling merchandise, replacing cargo, filling orders, and overseeing the flow of shipments.
• Perform the task of moving and delivering goods to the correct locations within the facility with precision and on schedule.
• It is important to report any instances of dangerous working conditions, damaged products, or non-compliant procedures in the facility to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all employees.
• Maneuver moving equipment safely and with precision.
• A clean work environment not only helps in keeping everyone healthy and safe but it also helps in achieving regulatory compliance.

The on-property Yard Driver is accountable for transferring trailers from one location to another in the yard:

• Observe all company, local, state and federal regulations when operating tractor/trailers.
• Prompt and accurate delivery of transportation trailers to the appropriate location on the facility property.
• Make sure to report any precarious working parameters, damaged goods or unsafe procedures to the management without delay.
• Manage a tractor-trailer diligently by following all safety guidelines and directives.
• To guarantee safety and compliance, a clean workplace is a must.

Minimum Qualifications:

• The job of Yard Driver - On Property demands certain minimum qualifications which need to be met by the applicants.
• The job eligibility criteria include having 6 months of experience operating tractor/trailer units and a valid driver's license issued by the state.
