Bridge Coating Inspector (Remote Site Locations)
GPI is seeking highly qualified Bridge Coatings Inspectors to work on various projects throughout Illinois.Experience working on transportation agency or municipal projects is a major plus.Metalizing or shop inspection experience is also a plus.Work is anticipated to start in the Spring of 2023.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for inspecting, accepting, and/or rejecting work performed as detailed by specifications or applicable codes
- Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports on conditions, progress, weather, and acceptability of work
- Travel to multiple job sites if needed
- Some assignments may include night shifts
Qualifications:
- Only AMPP, NACE or SSPC Certified Coatings Inspectors will be considered. The individuals must have a minimum of a Level II Certification and at least 2 years of experience inspecting bridge coating operations
- Individuals who have formally received SSPC C3 Lead/Hazardous Paint Removal training are also preferred.
- Experience reviewing contractor submittals, procedures, and hazardous waste plans is also a plus.
- OSHA 10
