STNA needed for 12-24 hour shifts for hospice patients- immediate opening; 1 on 1 care only. Facility experience and hospice experience preferred.

  • Support clients' mobility and transportation needs, enabling them to remain engaged and active in their communities.

  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.




Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic approach to caregiving.

  • Knowledge and understanding of elderly care, senior care, and patient care principles.

  • Reliability, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to cater to the individual needs and preferences of each client.

Education/Skills Requirements:


1) Background check and complete a drug test and randomly thereafter.


2) Physically able to perform duties of the position.


3) General nutrition knowledge necessary for meal planning.


4) Good oral and written communication skills.




ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS


1) Bending, stooping, walking and general physical demands of light housekeeping.


2) May require some lifting.


3) May require longer periods of sitting


Will need current STNA certification!
