That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.About the teamInfrastructure Technical Program Managers own and deliver the highest leverage engineering programs impacting/driven out of infrastructure (across Reliability, Security, and Foundation) to maximize Stripe's velocity, efficiency, and scalability.What you’ll doAs a Technical Program Manager in the Infrastructure space, you will play a key role within engineering and drive programs that span across the organization in the areas of security, reliability, or core infrastructure. You will be responsible for the successful definition, cross-functional strategy, planning and execution of large-scale technical programs that help to solve complex problems and enable products and infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesOperationalize and execute on key cross functional programs spanning all engineering organizations including managing Operation Reviews, driving efficiencies in capacity governance and launch reviewsPartner with Engineering Managers and Technical Program Managers to define, scope and improve the operational needs within the teamsDefine and standardize documentation and communication processes Develop, implement, and iterate on program management procedures, frameworks, and metrics to achieve goals with defined success criteriaDevelop, define and report on program health and success metricsLeverage data to drive strategic decisions and reporting at the leadership levelCreate canonical documentation of plans and processes, driving consistency and alignment across teamsWho you areWe’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.Minimum requirements7+ years of technical product/program management experienceYou are not satisfied with just delivering a program on time—you are discerning about product/infrastructure architecture and obsessed with quality, reliability & correctnessYou have a track record of providing program management during all phases of software development from kick-off to ship, demonstrating critical thinking and thought leadershipYou have strong written and verbal communication skills, building strong relationships with stakeholders and teams around the organizationYou can drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functionsExperience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zonesAnalytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale platforms, infrastructure and organizationsExperience leading initiatives with a global footprint having built APIs, products, and complex systems/infrastructure at scale
