Job Description:

This position requires managing the replenishing, ordering, and merchandising of prepared foods products while also participating in promotional programs. Monitoring inventory control is crucial. As well, organizing promotional displays according to OTS standards is necessary. Providing courteous and efficient service, maintaining a positive company image, and following Standard Operating Procedures are all required. Being able to perform other duties as needed is also essential. Upholding core values, supporting store initiatives, and conforming to health and safety regulations are mandatory in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Sources and restocks ingredients for meal prep using effective purchasing procedures.
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of actions taken in response to open purchase order and credit reports.
  • A control specialist must be able to balance turn goals with the need to keep inventory fresh and avoid spoilage.
  • Increases inventory control accountability by completing spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
  • Renders assistance in serving customers and preparing meals based on the given timetable or whenever required.
  • Stays in contact with the Kitchen Manager/Chef and Team Leader regarding purchasing and problematic situations.
  • Maintains amicable cooperation with suppliers and service providers.
  • Assists the Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader(s) in estimating the recipe's expenses.
  • Manages the special order process for customers based abroad.
  • Works with leadership to conduct successful inventory checks.
