Lionbridge is seeking a 3D Lab Tech to join our experienced 3D team on-site in Corvallis, OR. As a Lab Technician you will be a resource for operation and maintenance of a wide variety of 3D products, technology systems and other related equipment sets, with an emphasis on safety. You will provide operational support to the R&D engineering teams through the running and support of 3D Printing equipment and products.

What You Will Do?
  • Receive full training on State-of-the-Art 3D Printing equipment and all safety practices!
  • Execute standard working procedures and/or experimental work in your designated lab under the supervision of the Lead Tech or Supervisor.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and first level troubleshooting on processes and tooling as trained.
  • Perform execution, data entry and lot-tracking for all your work.
  • Load/Run/Unload materials and jobs on Prototype and Production 3D printers and support equipment (i.e., ovens, bead blaster, metrology tools, etc.), including applicable cleaning and preparation, per documented procedures and experimental work instructions.
  • Work with powder processes including sifting, baking, excavating, loading and unloading 3D printers and/or peripheral equipment.
  • Act as the point of communication for escalations of any issues to the Lead Tech or Supervisor for resolution.


To Be Successful You Will Have?
  • No experience is necessary, and you will receive full on-the-job (OTJ) training!
  • A high school diploma, General Education Development (GED) or equivalency.
  • Technical experience in R&D, product test development or manufacturing environments. Preferred, but not necessary.
  • The ability to focus and multi-task in a rapidly changing environment.
  • A team-oriented attitude with a strong desire to learn.
  • An eagerness to work with the organization to support experimental and new product development.
  • A desire to work in a team environment as well as operate independently.
  • A strong grasp of the Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, OneNote, MS Outlook Exchange etc.).
