RN Operating Room

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN Operating Room to join our team. As an RN Operating Room, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the operating room by ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available
• Assisting in the positioning and preparation of patients for surgery
• Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure a safe and sterile environment
• Monitoring the patient's vital signs, response to anesthesia, and overall condition during surgery
• Administering medications and intravenous fluids as directed by the surgeon or anesthesia provider
• Documenting all surgical procedures accurately and promptly in the patient's medical records
• Communicating effectively with patients, their families, and the surgical team to provide comprehensive care and support

Requirements

• Valid RN license in [state]
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in an operating room setting
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Proficiency in handling and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment
• Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
