Overview:** Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to work in our Marysville Dental Clinic. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dental provider in the delivery of dental procedures allowed by the WA State Dental Practice Act. * Assist the dental provider in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery procedures, and other procedures allowed by the WA Dental Practice Act
* Maintain proper records for material safety data sheets (MSDS), spore test, inventory of dental supplies
* Assist in training new Dental Assistants and organizing schedules to generate checklists for maintenance of dental procedures
**Qualifications:**
* Valid WA State license, basic life support (BLS) certification, organizational skills, dental record experience, and familiarity with the utilization of computers
* Excellent customer service skills, ability to communicate, read, and write in English, and interpret common written material about dentistry
* Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
* As a Dental Assistant II, completed a formal Dental Assistant program at a College, Technical Institute, or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months of work experience
* As a Dental Assistant III, 2 years of working experience, with knowledge of proper sterilization methods and OSHA regulations, including QI
