Organization:

This job requires a high level of organization, as you will be responsible for tracking multiple deliveries and ensuring that they are all completed on time. You should be able to manage your time effectively and keep track of multiple tasks at once

• Operate all equipment.
• Relocate the stock ingredients received from the delivery area to their rightful spots in the storage, work, and cooler spaces.
• Prepare product.
• Receive telephone orders and ensure that they are handled in a prompt and professional manner.
• Undertake an inventory assessment and finish the requisite paperwork.
• The facility and equipment require daily cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• A mandatory orientation and training program is in place for new staff.
• Communication Skills
• The proficiency to understand and give accurate written directives.
• The capacity to utilize oral communication to efficiently handle orders from customers and associates, whether it is done in person or through the phone.

Essential Functions/Skills:

• Although the use of calculators and other computational aids can expedite many mathematical tasks, it is still important to be able to perform basic operations manually, as that enhances one's flexibility, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• The role demands the employee to display proficiency in making accurate monetary calculations. Along with this, he/she should also have excellent communication skills in writing and on the telephone for acquiring and processing orders.
• Coordination between the eyes and hands/fingers is essential to perform rapid and precise movements with accuracy.
• Customers have the flexibility to use either a keyboard or touch screen to place an order.

Environmental Challenges:

The nature of the job exposes workers to hazardous and unpredictable weather conditions while carrying out outdoor tasks such as trash removal. In-store temperature conditions ranging from 36 degrees cooler to 90 degrees and above, coupled with sudden changes between working within and outside.

Sensing:

• Speaking and hearing messages through the use of a telephone.
• Adequate near and intermediate vision is necessary for customers to complete the majority of in-store activities.
• Depth perception.
• The competency to differentiate between hot and chilly surfaces.

• Standing up is the typical stance employed for many tasks.
• Walking for a short time over short distances.
• Work surfaces in food processing facilities are typically set at heights between 36 and 48 inches.
• As is customary, paperwork is done while seated at a desk or table in an office setting.
• The team handles bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and this occurs twice a week or more.
• The shipments that are received may contain crates of materials and equipment that can weigh up to 50 pounds with a volume of up to 3' x 1.5'.
• The common practice is to lift the cases and place them onto shelves going up to 72 inches high.
• When moving the large cans that weigh 3 lbs and 7 oz, they are brought from the workstation and placed onto the designated storage shelves.
• Individuals periodically transfer pizza sauce that weighs 30 pounds from the storage room to the front of the store.
• Pizza dough trays are typically carried three at a time for short distances, with each tray weighing roughly 12 pounds.
• Consistent and appropriate application of force, up to 7.5 pounds, is essential for moving a dolly containing a stack of 24-30 trays.
• With a gentle tug, the trays can be pulled out of place.
• Sometimes, team members must ascend stairs or utilize a ladder to alter signs, wash walls, or complete upkeep tasks.
