Job Summary:

As a Sales Warehouse Associate, utilizing your expertise, positive outlook, and helpful demeanor, you will cater to the needs of clients stopping in. You will excel in increasing sales, fostering customer loyalty, and surpassing client anticipations. While performing your duties, you will need to alternate between tending to customers and accomplishing various storehouse duties. Your immediate supervisor will be the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a seamless customer experience by handling every aspect of their order, from choosing the right product to loading their vehicle safely.
• Explore potential avenues to increase revenue and promote repeat business through customer retention initiatives.
• Vary your communication style based on the audience you're addressing, whether it be through email, on the phone, or in person.
• Choose, organize, and prepare merchandise for will-call pickup or shipping.
• Arrange and process the outstanding customer orders and store the out-of-stock items as soon as possible.
• Assist with merchandising and keeping the showroom fully stocked.
• Perform inventory counts.
• Acquire the necessary skills to effectively use distinct computer systems for customer interactions and warehouse operations.
• Keep the branch looking presentable to Grainger's standards by performing various cleaning duties.
• It is imperative to adhere to safety protocols and follow established procedures, which includes outfitting oneself in appropriate gear that ensures personal protection.

Qualifications:

• There is a possibility to work at any time during the branch's operating hours.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without any help and heavier weights with assistance while ensuring safety.
• Gain expertise and work with mechanized industrial machinery.
