Industrial Cleaner CDL A/B
Description:
Job duties include:
- Drive company vehicles to client sites. Majority of client sites are within one hour drive of Highland, IL. If servicing a location more than one hour away, will receive per diem and all travel expenses paid. In the rare event the service takes more than one day, company will provide lodging.
- Lead and assist team of industrial cleaners in vacuuming, hydro-blasting, media blasting, and chemical cleaning operations.
- Assess client site to determine which cleaning service is required, conduct determined cleaning.
- Coordinate with client staff and team during preparation, execution, and cleaning assessment phases.
- Upsell services if possible.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct all activities with highest safety concerns.
This is primarily a first shift position although they may need to work extra hours during busy season (spring and fall) which could include being on-call or working weekends. Depending upon workload in summer and winter, may see reduced hours or work in the shop.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have CDL Type A license.
Must have experience and knowledge of industrial maintenance and operations. Ideal candidate has worked for a services company or in a maintenance role.
Must have leadership experience.
Experience conducting plant maintenance and cleaning operations strongly preferred.
OSHA certifications and workplace safety and safe material handling certifications and experience.
Customer service and vendor coordination experience.
