T-Mobile has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst in Corporate Strategy and Analysis, a position that requires strategic and analytic thinking, the ability to influence team members and executives cross-functionally, and an appetite for change and innovation.


You will have the opportunity to independently structure and drive sub-problems within workstreams to:



  • Provide the analytical horsepower. Tackle ambiguous and complex analytical problems, requiring analysis beyond what's necessary for day-to-day operations. Dig deep into large data sets to extract key business insights

  • Empower decision making for business leaders. Uncover critical business insights and create models that impact key decisions. Create decision models that perform sensitivity analyses across a range of options

  • Synthesize findings. Translate insights and concepts to actionable recommendations

  • Build a story out of the numbers. Craft a strategic story and present complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and decision-impacting manner.


Qualifications



  • Rock-star problem solver. You can identify the key issues that impact business decisions and are equipped with superior analytical skills including the ability to build models (typically in Excel) to drive insights.

  • Structured thinker. You can frame and bring structure to complex and ambiguous analytical problems.

  • Data analyzer. You are experienced at gathering, manipulating and analyzing large datasets, and are a fast learner on new tools

  • Skilled modeler. You have experience building financial and/or decision models and feel comfortable tackling modeling assignments with some oversight. Strong Excel skills required, with SAS, R or other statistical software a plus.

  • Magenta team player. You have experience collaborating in teams and want to bring that experience to the cutting edge of wireless.

  • Clear communicator. You can synthesize analysis into succinct, executive-ready written, visual and verbal communications.

  • Independent doer. You desire a high level of responsibility and can work with minimal supervision. You are comfortable working in a high-intensity environment.

  • Fearless "Un-carrier" spirit. You possess a relentless appetite to drive change and aren't bound by the "status quo".


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree, quantitative fields preferred (e.g., Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering)

  • 3 years of relevant work experience, with some level of familiarity with tech, telecommunications, or consumer businesses

  • Experience working on cross-functional projects

  • Demonstrated experience and comfort working with large data sets

  • Track record of demonstrating a high level of achievement


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1-2 years of consulting or investment banking experience

  • Experience with SQL and GIS based tools and/or advanced visualization tools such as Tableau

Washington Pay Range : $91,900.00 - $124,300.00


The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
