Job Summary:

Your role as a leader in the Life/Health/Retirement Income distribution model involves managing the acquisition, development, and retention capabilities of both digital and human channels, creating a seamless customer experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop pricing strategies for new and existing products under the Life, Health, or Retirement Income channels that balance affordability with profitability.
  • Encourage team collaboration through cross-training and joint project assignments to create a cohesive and supportive work environment.
  • Consistently high levels of member satisfaction and net promoter scores are essential to build a positive brand image and establish long-lasting customer loyalty.
  • Take the lead in managing changes and updating stakeholders on the latest business initiatives.
  • Build and lead a team of high achievers by focusing on the best hiring practices, coaching, and performance measurements.
  • Brand risks are another significant concern for businesses. Negative publicity, customer complaints, or product recalls can all harm a brand's reputation and lead to financial losses. To mitigate this risk, companies should proactively monitor their brand's online presence, respond promptly to customer complaints, and prioritize product quality and safety.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Applicants are required to have either a bachelor's degree in hand or 10+ years of experience in financial services to be considered for the position.
  • The applicant must demonstrate at least four years of people management experience, preferably in a challenging matrix organization.
  • Displaying executive-level business knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with key partners.
  • The possession of FINRA licenses Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65), 24, 51 (or 53) or aptitude in obtaining them are conditions for the role.
  • Obtaining a life/health insurance license within 90 days of job entry is mandatory.

Salary:

  • The compensation package for this position offers a salary range of $142,500.00 to $256,500.00, determined by both your experience level and the current market position.
  • Eligibility for pay incentives is determined by an individual's job performance or as approved by the USAA Board of Directors.
  • Executive job holders can benefit from a Long Term Incentive Plan.
