Position Summary:

The Sr Manager, International Benefits & Wellness supports all aspects of the company's international benefit programs, including health and welfare, retirement, time off and leave programs and international wellness programs. The Sr Manager, International Benefits & Wellness will have an immediate impact by helping us design and scale our benefits programs and wellness initiatives around the world and will be fully dedicated to the wellbeing of our employees, while helping the company stay aligned to its strategic goals.

  • Support design of competitive international benefit and wellness programs for Horizon's locations in EMEA, LATAM and APAC
  • Partner with brokers, vendors, and partners to set up, administer and scale our international benefits, wellness, and retirement plans
  • Review international benefit offerings regularly to ensure we are internationally aligned to our total rewards value proposition and company growth strategy while mindful of market-specific dynamics and compliance
  • Partner with local HR teams to provide international benefits and wellness support and resources
  • Lead the selection and implementation of new benefits vendors as needed, in partnership with internal cross functional teams
  • Oversee renewal process for all benefits plans, including the annual benefits open enrollment process, from start to finish
  • Analyze program usage and effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements
  • Oversee international time off policies and programs, including personal / vacation time, sick time, parental leave, local statutory leave, and holiday programs
  • Ensure compliance with all labor and benefit laws and remain current on regulatory changes and support audits of retirement and benefits plans and other tax-reporting requirements as necessary.
  • Participates in all Benefits and Wellness Team meetings.
  • Special projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; including the ability to partner with teams across the business to implement new programs
  • A solid understanding of legislation and compliance items related to benefits and leave administration
  • Experience managing time off, leave of absence, and open enrollment in an HRIS system (such as Workday) a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidential documents and information.
  • Strong MS Office skills including Word and Excel are required.
  • Self-starter who effectively prioritizes work to determine most important tasks to address shifting deadlines.
  • Has the ability to thrive in a fast pace environment and meet required deadlines to support our growing business and the multi-faceted nature of the role.
