Retail Floor Supervisor

Job Summary of Retail Floor Supervisor:

As an Assistant Store Manager at ALDI, you'll be responsible for all aspects of store operations and team development. This full-time position pays $23.50 per hour and requires a 38-hour workweek. Your primary job function will include supervising daily activities, monitoring store performance, creating schedules, and identifying opportunities to train and develop your team to be successful.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Floor Supervisor:

• Partner with the Store Manager to establish achievable targets and implement strategies to achieve them.
• Implement effective strategies to manage conflicts and challenges that arise, ensuring that your team is equipped to work through obstacles and overcome obstacles together.
• Inculcate a sense of pride and ownership among employees by consistently demonstrating the company's core values and principles.
• As the point of contact for customers, I am responsible for handling all complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform store maintenance duties by ensuring that the store is clean, hygienic, and in compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Consistent adherence to inventory procedures, cash control policies, and company policies and procedures is necessary.
• The task involves overseeing inventory, arranging product displays, and performing routine cleaning duties.
• Complete supplementary duties as needed to boost the efficiency of store operations.

Qualifications and Experience of Retail Floor Supervisor:

• The ideal candidate would possess a diploma from a High School or something similar to that stature.
• Candidates with three or more years of experience in retail, with increasing levels of responsibility are ideal for this role. Prior management experience is desired.
• Exemplary communication abilities both in writing and verbally, skilled in organizing, and capable of multitasking seamlessly.
• The competence to operate individually or collaboratively, demonstrate effective leadership, and execute management theories pertaining to financial planning and staffing.
• Having the proficiency to lift up to 45 pounds, accomplishing responsibilities such as stocking shelves, executing movements that require bending or remaining upright for lengthy periods, and carrying out equipment operations with safety as a top priority.
