Responsibilities:

We are currently offering Product Development assignments to assist our insurance carrier or MGA clients with Personal or Commercial Lines. As an assistant, you will have diverse responsibilities, such as developing new products and creating marketing material:

• Take part in all the steps of the submission life cycle, from conceptualizing, composing, finalizing to presenting all necessary products such as forms, rates, rules.
• Carefully consider customer feedback and adjust insurance policies, rates, and forms accordingly to better meet their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with product designers and developers to ensure that user specifications are technically feasible and achievable.
• Build and file formal written requests with state insurance bureaus for the authorization of insurance product forms.
• Provide guidance to underwriters during the underwriting process, ensuring that all decisions made are aligned with company policies and procedures.
• Inspect user manuals, rate lists, forms, and additional associated materials to guarantee accuracy and intended results.
• Capable of functioning autonomously and collaborating seamlessly as part of a group dynamic.
• Proficiency in ISO or AAIS, Excel and SERFF can prove beneficial.

Qualifications:

• A lengthy employment record totaling 25 years
• A 10-year history of working in Property & Casualty insurance
