Our small group contractors are responsible for generating high quality leads for direct agents and brokers to sell to. Contract Agency Service Reps also assist in other outbound and inbound campaigns for Large group and specialty departments. Responsible for providing advanced customer service support to brokers selling company products via telephone or written communication. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: * Assists agents and brokers via telephone or written communication. * Responds to inquiries involving commissions, legislation, product information and policies and procedures for Individual, Small Group, Dental and Life. * Will be expected to average a certain number of phone calls per representative per week, average pieces of correspondence to be processed per day. * Coordinates mailings and fulfillment requests. * Assists in broker road shows. * Provides reports to brokers. * Works on special projects. Requirements: * Requires a high school diploma; 1 year of related customer service experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. * Previous health insurance industry experience preferred. * Advanced benefits, claims processing or membership knowledge preferred. * Good customer service skills * Telemarketing, and sales experience is helpful. * Needs to enjoy communicating with customers and doing large amount of outbound dials. Additional Details: * Temps will be able to work from home due to the current predicament, but we prefer to have them local so we are able to have them return to an office when that time comes. They will be sent a laptop to be able to work from home, but will need to have good internet that they can use. * This contract has the potential to be extended to up to 1 year and there may be opportunities to convert to a permanent Anthem Associate. Schedule: Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 8:00 pm (8 hour shifts to be determined within these hours of operation) Flexible hours and they are able to build out their schedule to make a 40 hour work week within the hours listed above.
