Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

The primary duty of the Business Development Manager role is to bolster the commercial sales in their designated AutoZone establishment. The CSM achieves this by building and nurturing positive associations with commercial clients, managing the procurement and shipping of merchandise, consistently delivering expert customer support, and being well-versed in the parts and inventory. The CSM goes above and beyond to satisfy clientele by providing exceptional WOW! Customer Service, being an avowed follower of the company pledge.

Responsibilities:

• Drive business expansion and meet sales objectives by effectively managing and enhancing commercial sales. Build fresh business relationships by reaching out to potential clients through both in-person and phone communications
• Take charge as the main communication link for commercial customers; keep open communication lines between AutoZone and commercial clients
• Facilitate the efficient delivery of products by strategically planning delivery routes and overseeing driver management. It is crucial to guarantee timely and accurate deliveries
• Utilize your expertise in automotive parts and industry to advise commercial clients in a consultative capacity, ensuring exceptional service
• Keep track of accounts and billing for business clients; handles returns and balances statements
• Conduct visits to commercial accounts to guarantee that they have received the promised service and deliveries. Foster the 'one-team' approach at AutoZone by aiding customers and AutoZoners in various aspects of the business
• Foster and cultivate a robust rapport with the executive team
• Upholds a secure workspace while guaranteeing that AutoZoners are adhering to safety protocols which include the use of PPE
• Adheres to correct protocols for accidents and insurance claims. Fulfils responsible driving practices and follows accurate Commercial Zone driver status approval guidelines
• Maintains the vehicle(s) in good condition and ensures timely repairs are conducted whenever necessary.

Requirements:

• Earning a high school diploma or a comparable qualification is a significant accomplishment in one's academic and professional life
• Understanding the Fundamentals of Automotive Components is Essential
• The proficient leader showcases exceptional articulation aptitudes, robust decisive capabilities, and superb marketing abilities
• Capability to hoist, transport, and dispatch goods
• Readiness to work a versatile timetable that caters to the demands of the business, which may involve weekend work, evening shifts, and holidays
