Construction Accounting Assistant (direct hire) - $30/hour

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one



Responsibilities:



•    Make sure all banking activity is entered daily into all bank accounts

•    Working with departments such as purchasing, inventory and facilities to make sure all receipts have been collected and all credit card activity is entered into accounting system

•    Reconciling credit card statements

•    Making sure invoices have a purchase order, proper cost coding and enter all accounts payable

•    Reconciling vendor statements, requesting missing invoices if needed, communicating with vendors on invoice related matters

•    Make sure proper setup of projects, customers and vendors

•    Assisting with payroll as needed



Qualifications:



•    Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or business administration or related business experience

•    At least two years previous accounting experience

•    Construction industry experience is preferred

•    Experience with accounting software – Foundation Construction Accounting Software

•    Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook



Hours are:



Monday through Friday – first shift



The pay is up to $30.00 an hours
