Substance Abuse Therapist
Overview
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus! (In-office staff only, remote hires excluded)
Salary: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per annum (dependent on licensure, experience, and education)
Schedule:
- Monday: 9am-9pm
- Tuesday: 9am-4pm
- Wednesday: 9am-9pm (Remote Work)
- Thursday: 11am-8pm
- Friday/Saturday/Sunday: Off
Requirement: Current Indiana Licensure required for this role - LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC

Groups Recover Together specializes in outpatient addiction medicine, offering comprehensive treatment for opioid addiction. Our approach integrates medication, weekly group therapy, and care navigation to support individuals in achieving sustained recovery.
Responsibilities:
Counselors play a pivotal role in our organization, focusing primarily on group therapy. You'll collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, peer recovery coaches, and office managers within a cross-functional care team. Responsibilities include:
- Leading the treatment team and coordinating member treatment decisions.
- Managing a schedule and caseload to support office and regional requirements.
- Collaborating with team members to deliver holistic care.
- Leading 2-3* 1-hour group therapy sessions using our prescribed curriculum.
- Documenting member progress using outcome measures (Core Milestones) and client feedback (NPS scores).
- Engaging in community relations activities such as distributing materials and attending relevant meetings.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Active IN behavioral health license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC) with willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity.
- Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a substance use disorder setting.
- Comfort with technology including EMR, Telehealth software, and Google products.
- Compassion, collaboration, and commitment to quality care.
- Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed.
- Preferred backgrounds in mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, or related fields.
