Job Summary:

We are currently seeking compassionate and skilled LPNs to join our team as Med Surgical Nurses. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical and surgical care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions are available, offering flexible scheduling options to accommodate your needs.

Nurse LPN Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments, screenings, and evaluations of residents' medical conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor residents' vital signs, symptoms, and reactions to medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation of all interventions and observations.
• Assist with medical procedures and surgeries as needed, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, providing immediate assistance and coordinating with the healthcare team.

Nurse LPN Requirements:

• Valid LPN license in the state of New York.
• Previous experience in medical-surgical nursing or a similar setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
