Job Summary of Inventory Associate:

As a Inventory Associate, you will be accountable for maintaining a clean and orderly store, restocking supplies, processing payments, and working closely with fellow team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities of Inventory Associate:

• Adhere to the M.A.P. criteria for this position by consistently demonstrating the requisite attitude, behavior, abilities, and professional aptitudes.
• Manages customer purchases through cash or card payments, ensures that the store is free of dirt and clutter, and showcases products in visually-appealing displays
• Elevate customer satisfaction by providing expert guidance and support to shoppers during their time in the store
• Encourage a collaborative work environment and strive for clear communication with the store management team
• Communication about product recalls and supply chain disruptions is crucial to maintain transparency and establish customer trust. Reporting such incidents to management is important in order to enable prompt and effective communication to the customers
• Continuously follow the established inventory management procedures to maintain the accuracy of inventory levels
• Sticks to cash management rules and regulations to prevent any financial mishaps
• Follows all established organizational protocols and procedures, taking great care to maintain the confidentiality of all records and data while also handling any other responsibilities that may be assigned

Physical Demands of Inventory Associate:

• Competence in moving stock from the receiving area to the shelves; proficient in placing products on shelves at different elevations. Frequently needed to sit, stand, stoop, extend, shove, tug, lift, transport, and roam throughout the store
• The job requires that one be able to complete their responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications of Inventory Associate:

• To be considered for the ALDI employment role, the applicant must have attained the minimum legal age of 18 years
