Individuals are expected to work for a duration of 4-5 days every week as per the work schedule, with an average of 25 hours per week. A Frito-Lay Order Selector's work involves carrying out different warehouse responsibilities. With our advanced manufacturing facilities, we are well-positioned to help produce several popular snack food items, including Classic Lay's, Cheetos, and Doritos. You may begin your career with Frito-Lay, but it could pave the way for future opportunities with PepsiCo. Being open all day and night means your timetable may need to be adjusted to take advantage of our services at any time. Employment on a part-time basis provides a flexible schedule, with the workload usually averaging between 20 and 25 hours per week. Physical labor is a fundamental part of working in a warehouse. Individuals who are not familiar with working in this atmosphere should be aware that they will be standing for an estimated 90% to 95% of their scheduled hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport pallets and individual cases onto and off of trailers, and also retrieve empty pallet boards to be stored
  • After completing our training and certification process, you will have the knowledge and tools to safely operate a forklift
  • The use of carts or stacking boxes on the floor of a truck trailer are both available options for loading
  • Obtain merchandise and support in conducting weekly stock audits
  • Keeping the facility clean and tidy is an essential aspect for maintaining a healthy and safe environment for employees and visitors
  • Tasks that may be required of you could involve cleaning the floor, helping to clean the trailer, or disposing of the trash
  • It is mandatory to be able to raise hefty objects that weigh between 15 and 50 pounds to pursue this undertaking

Working Conditions:

The Frito-Lay production plants are characterized by their extensive size and significant ambient noise. Although we prioritize the comfort of all individuals, we encounter limitations in our control over the temperature levels in our warehouses. Indoor warehouse working conditions can be influenced by seasonal changes and shifts in the weather.

Requirements:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • Working on weekends and holidays, as well as off-shift, is a requirement of the job
  • Carrying objects ranging between 15 to 50 pounds is feasible with or without a reasonable modification
  • You can maintain a standing position and move around for an extended period, with or without the need for reasonable adjustments
  • With or without reasonable accommodations, you can perform tasks that entail prolonged periods of bending, stretching, climbing, kneeling, and reaching
  • You are qualified to perform tasks that entail repetitive activity, like carrying, pushing, pulling, and handling objects, with or without an accommodation
  • Applicants should be prepared to work from heights, using lifts or ladders to access areas of the plant as part of their duties
  • Candidates who possess the capability to operate in a challenging work environment encompassing temperature extremes, high humidity levels, hazardous and loud machines, and slippery surfaces will be a great fit for this role.
