Job Title: Lead Bartender
Responsibilities
Beverage Service: Provide exceptional beverage service to club members and guests, with a focus on professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Cocktail Creation: Develop and craft innovative and high-quality cocktails, ensuring a diverse and appealing drink menu that caters to varying tastes.
Wine Knowledge :Demonstrate a deep understanding of wines, including varietals, regions, and proper serving techniques. Assist members in selecting wines that complement their preferences and meals.
Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain accurate bar inventory, including regular stock assessments, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to ensure efficient operations.
Staff Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of bartenders and waiters, ensuring a cohesive and efficient work environment. Provide guidance on service standards and product knowledge.
Customer Engagement: Build rapport with club members, anticipate their preferences, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their overall experience.
Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations regarding alcohol service, ensuring the responsible and legal consumption of beverages on the premises.
Skills
Mixology: Proven expertise in creating a variety of cocktails with an emphasis on creativity and presentation.
Wine Certification: Possession of relevant wine certifications or extensive knowledge in various types of wines and wine pairings.
Inventory Control: Experience in managing bar inventory, controlling costs, and optimizing stock levels.
Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Leadership: Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role, demonstrating effective leadership and team management.
Communication: Strong communication skills to interact with members, staff, and management effectively.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer preferences and trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a bartender, with 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Relevant certifications in mixology and wine knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of local alcohol regulations and compliance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 40 per week
